Job Opportunities
Dorm Parent/Teacher Position, The Greenwood School, Putney, Vermont
Full-time, live-in dorm parent and teacher needed for junior boarding school (middle school) serving students with learning differences.
Academic Duties (Monday-Friday):
Teach four (4) classes daily [Science, Social Studies, or English]
Attend academic and faculty meetings as necessary
Weekday Residential Duties:
Serve as one of two live-in dormitory parents (separate apartment) for 45 students
Lead/Assist with daily Life Skills program
One term of coaching/afternoon activity [approximately 10 weeks]
Evening study-hall supervision and Put-to-Bed duty one night per week
Rotational overnight duty
Report to Director of Residential Life for other duties as necessary
Weekend Residential Duties:
Serve as a member of a weekend team (every third weekend, approximately 20 hours per weekend)
Experience working with children a must. Compensation and benefits commensurate with experience.
